"I'd never done Feldenkrais before meeting Yulia and now I'm a convert! She gently put my body back into shape and I felt grounded and straighter than ever before. Also have to say Yulia's manner during treatment sessions is lovely and comforting." LAURIE K., Arlington, VA
"I highly recommend Yulia. She was thorough in her exploration of my jaw pain and it’s relationship to other parts of my body. Her explanations were clear and logical, and her touch and manipulation were effective in helping to relieve the pain. The online material she shared is helping me to do appropriate exercises regularly. My situation has been chronic for more than 30 years, so it will take time for new habits to develop and reverse the patterns. I feel fortunate to have found such a skilled professional as Yulia to address this." H.K., TMJ patient, Alexandria, VA
"I just wanted to let you know what great results I got from yesterday’s Feldenkrais. My knee feels better! I can’t believe it - I assumed at best I was facing a multi-week recovery if not permanently damaged. Happy Knees indeed!" - Brenda S., Alexandria, VA

Feldenkrais Method helps to improve posture, coordination, and flexibility. More importantly, the Method shines light on patterns of inefficient movement, alleviates pain, and improves restricted functions. Based on the innate ability of our brain to change and seek most optimal ways of functioning, the Feldenkrais Method enables people to live without pain, move with pleasure, and avoid usual problems associated with aging or sedentary life style. It also helps athletes and dancers improve their performance.
The Method is named after the distinguished scientist and educator Moshe Feldenkrais (1904 - 1984). Dr. Feldenkrais earned his doctorate in Physics at the Sorbonne and was the first European to earn a black belt in the martial art of judo. After suffering a serious knee injury and not having viable conventional treatment, Feldenkrais embarked on exploring new relationships between the mind and body to improve body functioning. It took him 40 years to create what is now know as The Feldenkrais Method.
