Is your resolution for the New Year - to get rid of the back pain and discomfort? You want to move better and feel more vitality? Answer: Feldenkrais® lessons. In this series of 4 Awareness Through Movement (ATM) classes, you’ll be discovering current habits that are contributing to your discomfort and building new movement habits to eliminate the cause of the problem. The class benefits include less pain, more flexibility and strength and better overall well being. The classes are done in lying and sitting on the floor, mats are provided.

  • Rediscover balance and safety of your younger self. In this gentle movement class based on Feldenkrais Method you will be improving balance, flexibility and comfort. The exercises featured in the class are stress-free and can reduce pain and stiffness, help reduce the symptoms of arthritis and aide in recovery from injury.

    General tips for class attendees:

    • Each class features a different Awareness Through Movement routine.
    • Feldenkrais classes are relaxing and non-competitive. No prior experience is necessary. Wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothes. Mats are provided.
    • Classes are one hour long. It’s important to be there from the beginning, so please arrive a few minutes early.
    • What to expect: The teacher provides verbal guidance as participants explore a sequence of gentle movements and pay attention to their own sensations. As a result, you are more aware of your body, learn more efficient way to move, and release tension and pain.
